AI for businesses that do not have an IT department
New Era Forge works with small and mid-sized businesses in Western Kentucky that want the benefits of AI without hiring a technical team. Everything is explained in plain language, built to fit how you already work, and handed over so your people actually use it.
AI readiness assessment
Before anything gets built, we look at where AI would genuinely help you. That means sitting with the people who answer the phone, work the front desk or chase the same information every day, and listing the tasks that eat their time. You get a written plan that says what is worth doing first, what it would take, and what to leave alone.
Conversational AI agents
The core of the work. We build an assistant that knows your business and talks to customers or staff the way you would: answering hours, inventory and process questions, taking the first pass at a request, and handing off to a person the moment it should. It runs inside the boundaries you set and we show you exactly what it will and will not say.
Example: an auto dealership where the same twenty questions arrive by phone, text and web form every day. An assistant that answers them accurately, around the clock, frees the sales and service desks for the conversations that need a human.
Adoption and training
A tool nobody trusts gets ignored. We train the people who will use the assistant, write down the rules it follows, set up a simple way to flag when it gets something wrong, and stay available while it settles in.
How an engagement runs
-
A conversation
Thirty minutes, no slides. You describe the business; we tell you honestly whether AI is a fit right now.
-
Readiness plan
A short written plan: the one or two things worth doing first, what they involve, and what they would cost.
-
Build and pilot
We build the assistant, run it alongside your current process for a few weeks, and adjust it with your team.
-
Handover and support
Training, documentation, and an agreed way to reach us afterwards.
